Cool gekko suunto

hello people a very merry xmas to all i am posting on here to ask the question of how do yu turn the suntto gekko dive computer off i have just had it for christmas and i don't know how to turn it of i have set everything else its just that part i dont know

Just letting you know that if you wanted to, you CAN download dive information from the Gekko to your PC even though Suunto say you can't. I can tell you more if you are interested.

its ok mate i just thought the old version didnt have them hence the only difference between the vyper and the gekko!!

Yes the new ones deffo have. (Well i got mine 4 xmas last yr an they did) The download is ment to be only availible for dive schools or some thing.

The old ones have as well so they can be downloaded by a chamber. As JB says, there is a way to download it yourself though, despite what Suunto say.

As another tip, you'll find that when you've been diving, if you leave the computer with wet gear it will remain on. This is not a problem as the battery lasts ages, and can be changed by you anyway. I've had my Suunto three years and have 230+ dives its still got plenty of battery time left.
