Question Aladin Prime IR problem
Hello all, I am now on my second Prime, the first having been replaced free of charge when the strap broke and the infra red link stopped working. Guess what? The infra red link has stopped working on the new unit. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Regards, Paul

Yes my IR stopped working during summer time last year. Took it back to the shop. They checked it by trying to download on their computer. No other questions and I got a brand new one as a replacement.

Do you have McAfee antivirus running on your PC ?

If so end task and then download from the Aladdin, restart antivirus.

Cool Aladin prime
I have Norton running and there has never been an issue. The IR worked one day and not the next. However, I turned Norton off just to try but no luck. Never mind, worth a try! Paul

My IR stopped working on my Aladiin and it runed out the computer had shifted in the plastic boot and the IR sensor was covered...

Worth a try.....

I had an Aladin Tec and its infra red stopped after 3 months set it back and it was replaced FOC with an Aladin Tec 2G
This is ok for now, i'm going to capenwray tomorrow to test it further
