VR3 at LIDS

Hi everybody

Did anyone get a VR3 at LIDS? What was the going rate and of course what software did the come with?

Im expanding into the world of rebreather diving later this year and am upgrading my computer. I am wondering if its worth waiting till the NEC show if it will save me a drastic amount of money.

Many thanks to anyone that can help.

Andy

The only deal i noticed on a VR3 at LIDS was an unknown stand doing the Open Circuit basic version for 575 quid. I have no idea if this is any good or not, as I nearly fainted when I saw the price. I had no idea they were in that range of price!

You lot with two of them are mad, and Gary is just plain nuts with his three! Mind you he does have an excuse

Derek,
I think that price is pretty good. £400 less than a Suunto d9 and it does a hell of a lot more.

I really don't get why people think VR's are expensive. Personally I think you get great value for money.

Having never seen one in a shop or on a stand before, having not looked because I don't need one, I just happenned to notice this one. I didn't know they were so expensive (in terms of comparison against something like a Gecko, and yes I know thats an unfair comparison).

It was the only one that I noticed all day, so I had nothing to compare it against.
