Scubapro Galileo Sol computer

Anyone heard much about this new computer? I believe it was the launch today down at Gatwick.

It looks to be aimed at competing with the VR3 and Shearwater?

Very few details on this review but what do you think?

I used a test pre-production model throughout January and February. The full test in in the April edition of Diver (3 pages - 12 pictures). It will be on-line in about two weeks.

I was diving with someone testing one of these at Stoney at the end of January.
It did have a couple of interesting features - easy to read, the compass and a nice menu system. The benefit of the heart monitor and being able to track the pressure of up to 4 (?) cylinders. measure gas consumption etc is maybe questionable.
It is not, currently, trimix ready so it is not competing with the VR3 yet - except on price

Steve at 2dive4.co.uk had one to check out for a week or so and said he was impressed with it. Had a quick look at it and it seems to have some very good features like the downloadable screen shots, full tilt compass etc. Large screen with easy to follow menu system. At the moment trimix software is being developed but not available yet as I understand.
