Vytec gauge mode " SET C"

Having to borrow my m8's old type Vytec to use as a bottom timer for a course .On start up in the bottom left of the screen it says " SET C " Is this something to worry about or is it normal ? Used to own a vytec but never saw this

It is waiting for communication from pressure transmitter. If you don't have one you want to go into the preferences and switch that off.

Hmmm Somebody please tell me which buttons to press in what order to do that ?

Turn Vytec on (press mode button)

1. Press and hold mode button to get mode options
2. press down (time) button until you get to SET
3. Select this (press mode?)
4. down to PREF
5. Select this (press mode?)
6. Down to HP
7. Select
8. Down to off
9. Select

Also from step five Down to MODEL
Select
down to AIR / NITROX / GUAGE (you will want guage)
Select
