Sensus Pro Install Issue

I've just taken delivery of a Sensus Pro (cheers GLOC) but having a bit of trouble.

I'm running XP Pro SP2
I've downloaded Sensus Manager 2.56 and the USB - Serial Adaptor Driver and installed both.
XP recognises the device when plugged into USB port.
Device Manager shows "Prolific USB to Serial Comm Port (Com7 or 8 etc.. depending which USB port I plug into)
I've selected the Comm Port withing Sensus Manager but when I try to "Configure Sensus Pro" or "Download Sensus Pro" I get a Comm Port error, check com port etc..
I have tried various USB ports.

Any ideas?
