Vyper on to a slate

Right got a little bit of fun for everyone in to DIY. One of those wrist mounted slates has recently been donated to my diving bag. I am thinking about putting my vyper on to the slate cos its got a couple of nice wide slots on the back with a big bit of velcro running through it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this, if its just a bad idea, how you did it and how its all working for you. Right well hope someone has an idea what i'm going on about, cheers, James

I don't use one of these, but the easy way to do it is to just feed the computer strap through the slots on the slate. Job done.

Ah true tom fair point, was wondering if this was gonna be a bit cumbersome to put on and get off or not with the conventional strap.

I don't really see what the advantage of putting it on the slate would do?

Well i'm wanting them both on my right arm as i'm a lefty, but the slate is quite big n i'm thinking my fore arm could well get a bit full and cumbersome unless i put the comp over the slate area that looks like it was pretty much made for it.

Would it not be easier to just make the slate smaller?
