| Suunto Vyper USB on Windows Vista My old laptop died so I've purchase a new one running Windows Vista I was hoping to install Suunto Dive Manager and hook up my Vyper over a USB cable. The install of Suunto Dive Manager looks good and it runs fine (or seems to) The install of the USB driver also says it's successful. But Dive Manager can't find my computer. I've done all the obvious things (rebooting - reinstalling the driver, checking my Vyper is in TR-PC mode) Has anyone else managed to get their Vyper (Vytec etc.) hooked up to Windows Vista with USB? If so how did you do it and were there problems/solutions? Suunto don't officially support Vista yet. (Like quite a few other software vendors as I've been finding out!) |

| I've not tried it on my vista machine, but have you tried making the program run in compatabilty mode? Right click the Dive Manager Icon and select "Properties" at the bottom, then click the tab marked "Compatability". Tick the "Compatability" box and select "XP with Service Pack2". It may or may not work, I've had some software be OK doing this and others that just will not run, try it and see Arfie
