| I used to use the small battery company or also Battery Force. Selling brand name batteries online at cheap discounted prices. Duracell Energizer Panasonic Uniross Camcorder Camera Phone Watch Charger Tester Batteries both are pretty good in terms of prices and delivery and the 3.6v batteries are so much better in a VR3 than a standard AA |

| Maplin sell them, if there's one on your high street it might be easier. They do have an alarmingly steep discharge characteristic. I was on a dive once and all seemed well, 3.4V before I set off, 45minutes later, blank screen and I don't run with my backlight on much. So they don't gradually drop from 3.6 to 1.4 before lights out. I've gone back to 1.4Vs. MM

| I have found some halfway - 1.7v - lithiums in Jessops Much cheaper than the 3.2 v offerings at IIRC £6 for 4 Seem to last well - and to drop to 1,5 before bouncing back to 1.7. This running light on when wet.
