<font color='#F52887'>I have a Cobra AI and want to know if there is a fix to the problem of it not turning off post dive? it is still showing that it has a water activation on the screen but it might have been out of the water for hours. It only turns off if I open it all up and dry it or leave it in the airing cupboard.

<font color='#000080'>Usually a build up of marine kak on the contacts. There is a site somewhere about giving computers a clean in a weak lemon juice solution- never tried it but worth a hunt round.

Give it a nice wash in warm (WARM, not hot) water to dissolve anything that'll come off easily. Leave it to dry fully.

Get a pencil eraser (yes, I'm serious) and rub around the contacts - it'll remove any cruddy marine buildup between them that's making it confused.

Then get a bit of silicone grease and cover the area surrounding the contacts (NOT the contacts themselves!), which should prevent the problem recurring.

At any rate, it works great on Aladdins
