Aladin tec 2 sticky buttons
My Tec 2 has a sticky right hand button (av depth reset) - has anybody else had a similar problem and how do you fix it. I have already soaked overnight in warm water.

Yes I had a similar issue and Scubapro advised some "warm soapy water"

Well soapy water seems to of worked a little, so will try out this weekend at Chepstow.

Mine was knackered after about 12 dives and no amount of soaking has unknackered it. Crap design

Sorry to hear that Rob.

Wilbo - I would still get one - though the new uwatec BT looks really nice- if only it did seconds! Doesn't have the reset on average depth either but now does av depth- be interesting to how the two compare.

Just my own thoughts

Nor does my Tec 2 now that the buttons have packed up!

I was looking at the new Uwatec BT and without reset the average depth isn't that useful.

Maybe the best thing to come out of the new one is a drop in price on the old one...
