suunto dive manager 2.5.0

Just wondered if anyone has used this yet and if the interface is any different. Going by the suunto website I think it is just support for the Cobra2 and Vyper2.

Still the same buggy PoS as before. Except now you can actually add cylinder profiles properly!

(and it does support the vyper2 and cobra2)

May have a look, but I've gone back to the 1.6 version. Simpler and less problems.

I am using it with my Gekko (Using the 'hack'), and it is ok, other than it refuses to download two dives from my Gekko. It knows they are on there (it has total number of dives correct), just will not download them.

Wonder if Suunto will help me if I tell them my Gekko is not working properly on SDM2.5...

I use it with an older vytec with no problems....apart from the fact it doesn't store buddies, boats, and extra text entries I make. I have hacked the password for the access database that runs behind the software so that I can add these details directly, enabling me to select them from the drop down boxes on subsequent dives.

I am happy to share this information if it's of any use. PM me if you require it.
