Changing the battery in a Swatch
Does anyone have any experience of changing a battery on a Swatch? It looks like a fairly simple operation that you could do yourself. I'm looking for a cheap dive watch that I can safely wearing in the dodgier parts of the world and there's a few on fleabay that caught my eye, but some of them need a new battery.

Hmm, if battery replacement was easy, why are they on ebay? Would you trust someone who says it works except for the battery?

I thought many Swatches were throwaway items. They certainly seem to be giveaway in some cases.

I use one of those Timex or Casio GShock things. Apparently they are good to 200m. Not that I'll be trying. And they are not expensive.

Because there are people who collect them apparently. Which means you can find never been worn, still in the box, watches which need a new battery.

it does vary a bit depending on which model you have, everyone I've had has been very easy to do
