Unhappy Uwatec Smart Com died again

Can't believe it. A year to the day since my Uwatec Smartcom broke in Thailand at the start of my IDC, and the damn thing has gone again. This time it was post dive. I was just going to infra-red the info over to my PDA dive logbook and it wouldn't turn on in the normal way. Tried putting it in water and the computer is just completely dead. It's like the battery is dead, although I know there's plenty of juice in there.

Now I've got to contact the original owner of it so he can arrange for an RMA for me to return it. It's a nice computer but 2 repairs/replacements inside 12 months is not what I want out of a dive computer/gauge set. At least I've got a backup set of gauges I can attach.
