| Imported post Hi Its a good compass, but then most work fine. The key is how you hold it, keep it flat and level. If i am using mine other than a quick general orientation i take it off and hold it. Better still if you have a lot of navigation to do strap it to a slate or board to help with judging how level it is. Also useful to write your bearings on next to it. I find a consul mounted one is only of limited quick orientation use, but its always there when you want it and not in the boat Dive safe Paul

| Imported post Hold your horses Dave... Might as well get the last shot on. Suppose I could have used the timer on the camera now I think about it BTW, The bolt snap is so I can clip it in my pocket or onto my harness if I prefer, it does not get in the way too be honest. Daz
