Hi guys,

I'm after the lowest price in the UK or world for a Vytec dive computer.

So far Robin Hood watersports are winning with £284.

Anyone know a place lower than this, or where i can knock them down lower, preferably without using a big stick?

Tim

<font color='#000080'>Tiewrap- what's wrong with your Vyper all of a sudden? Want to switch mixes or something?

You could always wander round LIDS trying the &quot;but them over on that stand are doing them for £4.50 routine&quot;

Have to agree that Roho seem to be the cheapest for pooters - got a stinger with SSteel bracelet for £350 last year - £70 cheaper than the next best I could find anywhere.

my fave cheapie dive gear retailer GoDive.net have had a good crack at beating Roho though - £299 for the Vytec alone but they are considerably cheaper than roho if you buy it with the transmitter - £564 vs £629 - and I quite like the idea of one less dangly thing on my rig (ooer!)

they also have some new apeks multi gas computers for about £200 aparently - don't know if they are any good though

I wouldn't touch go dive with the biggest stick i could find. I quite like a company that will help me if i have a problem after i've brought something off them. Mark at Go Dive is a w**ker and its not just me that thinks that.

yes Woz, i wnat the gas swtiching option, i'm planning on joining a tekkie club in august so trying to get some kit together. I should have brought the Vytec originally.

Oooo so you'll be wanting lots of stainless clippy jewellery to hang off yourself then? And any colour as long as it's black...

Funny how different people experiences can be - I've always found them to be helpful, and courteous, and always answered all of my questions quickly and knowledgeably - they even sorted out the problems I was having with getting parcelfarce to make a delivery - although to be fair I don't recall ever deaing with anyone called Mark &nbsp;

Hell yeah, i want some black powder coated clips, and some black marine grade paint for my twin set. Should open up a sub division of Woz Diving Supplies called the Henry Ford Tekkie Range.

If that's the only reason for chaning your comp, then I wouldn't worry about it. I was at the North-est BSAC regional conference yesterday and Graeme Bruce was doing a piece about kit config , especially in relation to the tekkie stuff, and he was advising folk to buy two 70 quid D timers and using tables rather than splashing your cash on Vyteks and VR3s , so there's one hardcore tekkie who wouldn't expect you to change your comp if you were diving with his outfit.
