Bardo is the software you use SmartTrak, if so there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

You probably already know this, but here's a little bit of information about the SmartTrak database file, which I found out (all by myself), when I was having trouble importing data from the old program (DataTrak) into SmartTrak.

The LOG file is actually a Microsoft Access file. Just change its suffix to .MDB and it will open in Access. Only trouble then is that it's password protected.

Well, Google is your friend in these instances. Suffice to say that Microsoft really ought to do something about Access password security....

The only remaining problem is that the dive profile is held in a MEMO field, so to crack that you'd have to start programming for real. I couldn't be bothered, but I bet it wouldn't be that hard.

Ummm, if the mods want to delete this feel free....

Actually, what I'd really like in a dive log program (apart from the ability to import from multiple computers), is a feature where I can design the whole layout from scratch.

Dive-Logs.com - Great dive logs for scuba divers that are quick and easy to use. do this already, but I don't want to pay for fancy paper logs - electronic is fine.

Do that and you'd have a proper marketable product on your hands. I don't think anybody else does this yet.

Naturally, I would get a free copy as "consulting fee"

This one is not to replace software that comes with dive computers.
Its main funchtion was just to work out Pressure Groupes and print a PADI log.

I would like to thank every one who gave feed back on my Dive Log Program.

Becouse I was unable to do certain things people requested I have decided to do a new one.
Hopefully an improvement on this one with all I have learnt from it.

All are welcome to come and make comments.
