Talking The Mighty VR3!

After much deliberation and reading, decided to get a new colour VR3. Spent last night playing with it in sim dive to get my head round it all. Tried it in the new Q mode and N modes. Think i'll opt for the N mode as I like the extra info. Screen really clear and bright. Simulated a deep dark dive by switching off all the room lights and the screen bathed my wrsit in ethereal light. An angelic choir joined in to make the experience complete.
Love the way this thing works, very 'logical', escpecially gas switching and confirmation of breathing gas. Main reason for going the VR3 route was i expect i'll be on a rebreather in a few years and i like the deep stops and the fact that it doesnt want you up at 3m asap like my vytec DS. Many thanks to Brett at Dive Life. Top bloke and shop.

i got my c3 spectrum this week too,

yes the options are great its a very grown ups bit of kit

please lets all tell delta p that a £800+ bit of kit needs more than a crap photo copy inside the screen! and line it up properly!

it really lets it down! naughty people! should have more pride!

british workmanship!

can the screen come off with bolts removed or is it sealed in a secret way?

rant over

cheers

Don't take it apart - it's filled with oil.
Send it back if you're not happy.

Why on earth would you want to remove the screen?! As the old saying goes 'if it aint broke - don't fix it'!!!!! Leave well alone! lol
