| That's what I bought mine for. It's not a great deal but if you can dig out a knackered, broken computer like mine then it's worth a few quid.

| they do them new, without any trade-in for £169 |

| I have an old Aladin Pro which is not working any more. Will they accept it?? I can then have a new Quantum!

| Divers Warehouse are doing the same deal or selling them for £150 new |

| but is it any good as a dive comp? I've got a Vyper and dive air or nitrox to suit the dive, but am not doing any deco diving, although this may change in future. I do have a dead computer in a cupboard, so am curious as to whether it's worthwhile getting some value from it, or keeping my cash towards other shiny things instead. Having a 2nd comp would be useful backup, but then that's what my buddy's for!

| Deco on a Quantum is much nicer than deco on a Suunto that wants to get you to 3m where you gently fizz. If I was going to choose between them, I'd go for a Quantum over a Suunto any day of the week. Download kit expensive, though, and knock-offs not yet available.
