Used ones are fine ......... if you know its history, otherwise i would buy new, don't forget that most guarantee's are non transferable between owners.

What is quite funny is that in addition to selling the Apex Quantum, Go-Dive also stock the Nitek Duo for £375. They are the same computer.

Your pretty safe buying a second hand computer..many are still in superb condition..Suunto's have a " History" file in there memory so there can be no bullshit on how used it is... It can tell you the number of dives its done and hours/mins underwater. The Vyper would be my choice..if I were to buy new and be spending £200, I would hang fire and buy a secondhand Vytec instead.

A Vyper for £150, you can pretty much get all your money back in a year or two.

Vytec....email the guy and make him an offer...again, if you get it for less than £200, you can almost guarentee getting your money back ... and you probably won't outgrow this one for many years...if ever.

Suunto Vytec Diving Computer - eBay Dive Computers, SCUBA Snorkelling, Sporting Goods (end time 26-Oct-07 20:00:00 BST)

Just been diving mine on a 62 metre virgin John , bloody clever these D9s ,and so easy to read. Had to put on the rubber strap though to get it over the drysuit. Ps enjoyed our chat at the NEC.
