Suunto
I had the battery replaced in my Suunto Vytec last week, tonight I tried to download the 3 dives I have done since then and for some reason i get timed out message. On investigation it seems that the interface programme seems to have disappeared, if that makes sense.
So how do I get it back?
The programme is still on my pc though

Reinstall it?

Download the USB drivers and a current version of SDM2 off the suunto site?

Have a look at the FAQ on the Suunto site it may help. You may have changed one of the sttings when you replaced the battery so look at the settings on the vytec. To my knowledge there is nothing to download into the Vytec.

you can save all of the history/logged dives in a separate file, then reinstall them once the program is reinstalled. Im not too sure if all of the dives are kept in the Vytec when the bat is changed.

If the battery is changed you have most likely lost any of the dives saved on the old battery as there isn't a back-up battery that I know of.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

I dont mind if I lose those dives as I had already transferred them on to my pc. But I would like to transfer the dives I have done since the new battery was installed.
