Suunto download cable
Ello, i found a suunto download cable lurking in a dive box long forgotten on the farm. However, its not a USB connector, but something else - no idea what the proper pooter name for it is, but connects via lots of little pins (cable is the female end).

Is there downloadable software online for this older type of connector? Or doesnt it matter. I have no idea.

it's a serial cable, and the standard suunto dive manager software should work with it

Its a serial cable and the USb cables run serial port emulators.
The standard Suunto software will work fine with this cable assuming you have a serial port on your pc/laptop.

...and if you dont have a serial port on the laptop you can buy a USB > serial converter for about £8 which will make it work.

Suunto v1 and v2 should work with it.
