I love my Gekko, really easy to use, easy to see underwater. I think Stoney Cove are selling for £139 at the minute. Also Divers Warehouse have the "Biggest ever Sale" starting this saturday and have 50 ex hire puters for sale.

I have a Gekko as well, and would recommend it.

My next computer purchase though will be a Quantum, so i can use two mixes.

If you have the extra £40 you may as well get the Quantum and add some basic future proofing.

I have dived an original Cressi Archimede for six years without a problem. As I like it so much I've just bought the Archimede II, which can run in gauge mode and is able to switch between two mixes on a dive. It cost £225 including the download cable (about £189 without, I think).
I would sugest you buy the Apeks Quantum seeing as it's the same computer as the Archimede II with a different badge and a lower price tag.
If you've seen Apeks Quantums for £140 where is that from?
