vr3 stange happenings

my new vr3 spectrum is going a bit bonkers,

just returned from a red sea week, most of the week at the start it was ok

im using a new 3.6v lithium cell showing 3.5v with the half wrapper removed from the rear for good contact,

it would go to surface mode during a dive and stay there for a while then reboot and start a fresh dive!

the depth seemed a bit up and down conpared to my bottom timer too.

washed in fresh water after every dive, buttons clean clear and working,

go to log on the surface and it had been doing dives to 185mtrs???

weird! loads of deep dives logged with missed stops and no assents

is it borked???

This isn't really much help, but have you tried removing and re-seating the batt and starting from scratch again?

Apart from that in my limited opinion "borked" seems to sum it up brilliantly, send it back!

Pete

My friend had the same problem with hers, it was caused by a faulty depth transducer.

Had to be sent back to Delta P for repair.
