VR3 Question Hi, As daft as this sounds please could somebody give me the step by step button presses required to switch gas's upon reaching the required depth. I have sucsessfully set up my gases in my gas list and activated them. When I reach the correct depth i get the gas switch icon, from here i am confused. I have done some testing dives (not into deco) and practiced my swaps with mixed results. I have read the manual and all it says is that the icon will appear and you can swap! - i would like to know what combination of pushes (short/long, left/right) i should be doing to swap Thanks for your time/help (open circuit VR3 3.03)

for example your using a back-gas and a deco mix of say 50% when you reach the mod of that gas yep the gas switch option will screen, a tick icon should come up on the display that side of the button to press, 1 long press should switch gas. you can also cancel that gas or program a new gas % during the dive if your deco gas goes walkabouts so back to back-gas or your kind team member donates there spare or drop tank... make sure the mod matches your programed gas as this is changeable, spend a battery having sofa dives getting it nailed and underwater its real easy to use,

When the prompt to switch appears at the relevant depth you need to make sure that you have the gas bottle showing in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. If it says Dvo instead then short press left to bring back the gas bottle symbol. (Short pressing left just cycles between Dvo and the gas bottle symbol) So with the gas bottle showing long press left which will then take you into the confirm screen. Assuming it is the gas you want (you did set them before the dive after all !!) then you will need to short press right (or long it wont matter) and prompted by the 'tick' symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You will now be returned to the main screen and within a split second the new gas will be registered and the prompt to switch will have disappeared. Hope that helps. Graham .
