buying a second hand VR3 - what to look for

Provinding i can ebay some valuables i think i'm going to go down the vr3 route (i've one option still to be looked at though)

Lots of folk suggest getting one second hand, is there any faults or features that i should look for?

At the moment i only need oc nitrox so new is going to be five / six hundred, do i loose out on much by geiing one a bit older? They seem to knock about for £450 ish so its a good saving.

greens for any pointers

Liam

Only point i can add, (not that it will affect usability)

look out for broken lines on the display. If they get dropped, on some occaisions this will knock a line out on the display (normally in the middle of the screen so it does not affect the display)

I've got one knocking about somewhere, Just come back from Delta P all new insides, The repair cost over £320. I've been a bit lax as it came back without all the mix codes so if your interested give me a shout and I'll chase them on the codes.

Time to dive.
