Suunto dive manager V2.6 is out
Yep the new dive mangler 2.6.0.193 is out from Suunto - beware, it moves the default location of the database (obviously without telling you!!). The new location is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Suunto
so you just copy the d9.mdb file from its normal location (C:\Program Files\Suunto\Suunto Dive Manager 2) to the new one.

Its about time Suunto caught on that people should know if they change things.

Mine is still in original place, did some screwy things to my dive profiles, i have some stange book marks in stranger places. Alarms where there were none and even the odd violation.

Still new simulator is cool FOR ME THAT IS Not quite the VR£ and v planner or whatever the clever voodoo gas boys and gals use .

Hopefully they've fixed the print bug - last few releases even disabling water temp and SAC plot it still prints it out.

In Vista the default file location is now "C:\ProgramData\Suunto\D9.mdb"

Worth noting - there's a "DM.ini" file in the directory containing the location of the D9.mdb file so you can move/alter this if needed.

You can do this through the program as well. Delete/move the D9.mdb file and fire up SDM and it should say the file is missing and ask you to specify where it is.

I moved mine off the desktop and onto my backed up NAS drive that way.

Not impressed so far - went to test the print bug and rather than printing everything it now locks up the entire program with access violations.

Is that vista related. I am on xp sp2 and have no probs printing. Thankfully as not particularly pc literate.

Seems to work ok on XP SP2 on my second PC here but not on Vista SP1 for printing. Will wipe all the older stuff and reinstall to see if that'll help it.

Works fine with the Gekko hack... Every new release i worry they'll block this!
