Line it up and push it in!!!

You need to remove the spring bars to get the unit out of the wrist strap though.

I used one this weekend, very easy, well worth the money.

did you notice how the rubber boot copes in cold water?... does it go as hard as a hard thing can be set in concrete and frozen to -365c or is still rubbery-ish ?

Still rubbery in cold water.

I suggest getting thin bunjee cord though, I've got the thick stuff and it makes it quite tight over the suit, but if I wear it on bear arms when I have the shortie on it's too loose. Oh and it's caused the hole to split.

I am not sure what you mean. Are you worried it might get cold and brittle and then break? I can't see that it would.

The Atlantic was 8C this weekend where I was, and the boot was fine.

The draw back of using the wrist mounted boot is that its a bloody nightmare when trying to transfer your date as it appear to thick for the data connector thingy copper bits to actually connect to the bits they are supposed to.

Wouldn't think so. It's a pretty snug fit.
