| Got mine in the briny for the first time today and was very pleased with it. I used to love my Vytec, but the Sol is the mutts nuts.

| Had mine for a couple of months now and think its the best thing since sliced bread. Good screen easy to read, compass works at almost any angle I would recommend it. Divelife gave me a good deal, give Brett a ring. |

| Saw one of these on a blokes arm this weekend I thought he'd velcro'd a freakin' laptop to his arm. The unit is massive and i reckon would be dead easy to scratch. |

Seriously, with regards to scratching it, the glass is recessed into the unit and also has a film protector and plastic cover. The only thing that will get scratched is the metal case and after 20 dives clambering over wreckage mine has very few marks at all. Seem tougher than they look! (Although that does not go for the workings - see above!) |

| Mine has done several hundred dives and looks perfect.

| Galileo sol Hi, I bought one, good computer, easy to read and use, however I bought the infa red USB connector. I installed smartrak (software) on the PC using windows XP and then installed the driver. All was proceeding well until I tried to download dives and the PC crashed and kept crashing and crashing. James at Scubapro is on the case. It looks as if the driver is corrupt. the problem is my PC is unable to uninstall it completely. Have tried the programme on a different computer and it makes that PC with windows xp crash too. Humm. Any ideas anybody? Sanpaul |
