In response to an earlier post (scuba g) the water was about the 5/6 degree mark. Is it possible that this cooling could have reduced the output of the battery? I know that putting flat AA batteries under your armpit will give you a bit more time on them, could this just be an extension? Is it that Jays bottom timer is a soft warm water bottom diver

Off to the shops with you young man! You can never have too many bottom timers. I have two (plus my computer which is in gauge mode)

(Admittedly this is because I thought I'd lost mine so ordered another... Then I remembered where I put it! Ooops! )

I had one go belly-up with similar issues - returned to Uwatec/Scubapro and it was replaced FOC... Send it back - nothing to lose and you might get a brand new unit!

Wink

I've got one that's about 10 years old and still working. The max life is about 10 years then you chuck it and buy a new one. It's completely sealed and not designed to be fixed.

I may put mine on ebay

What!!!

Someone sold a 4 year old bar of chocolate on there recently after finding it at the back of the sofa.
