have just bought a seconhand suunto vytec

anyone know if its possible to clear the logbook memory

There is no inbuilt function to clear it and nor can you do it using Dive Manager. I think the only way to do it is to remove the battery for a period of time, but no doubt someone will be along shortly to confirm.

i have a program that i downloaded ages ago called suunto DC eraser.
apparently it erases the log history from suunto dive computers.
i have never tried it

You can choose to ignore the dives when you download them to your PC.
Then 60 hours underwater, and they are all yours

if you set the sample rate to 10s & it'll clear out in 30 hours

I have used it on mine and a friends as we both bought used Vypers and it worked on both of them

It went in the post this morning and will be with you before 1pm tomorrow
