| oh and if you keep it in your garage or a cold place this will drain your battery even quicker!!

| the battery % doesn't seem to bear any resemblance to how much life the computer has left - they all seem to die horrible deaths at fifty-something percent ERR seems to be the normal messge for a low battery If it didn't turn off completely I'm surprised it has any life left after 5 months!

| ERR is the signal for shagged baterry as I found out last year. Luckily it was the first day of the trip and it was my back up. It was explained to me that the battery % displayed is not remaining life (as in time) but remaining power. Once they get down to 50%-ish they do not have enough umph (for want of a better expression) to run the calcs required. Aladins (as I understand it) constantly mointor temp / pressure (on tickover so to speak) so will use the least power when stored warm and dry. Cheers, John |

| Are Divequip still there? Quote:
Are Divequip operational or away on a trip. I have emailed them and left telephone message on their machine; but no response. I too need an Aladin battery changed. Neil |

| If it thinks it has been diving then it now thinks you are bent! Give it 24hrs and it should start working agin. After 48 all errors are gone.....unless the battery is shagged!
