| I do use the Lithium Thionyl 3.6v ones from RS in my normal VR£ but they work very well and last alot longer than regular Alkaline AA's. At about £4.50 each I got three or four and they've lasted for years each. In fact I'm only still on the first one rswww.com | SL360/S, Tadiran Batteries, AA Li Thionyl 3.6V,2.3Ah, 526-8431

| I use Lithium Thynoryl 3.6v ones for my colour, but as Nick says Ive given them to my mates and the ones with Monocrome VR3's go a bit nuts, so if youve got a non colour stick with normal AA's. G.
