Suunto Dive Manager - Malware?

Fed up with the shite interface that is the VR3 Prolog software, I've ordered a USB download cable for my old Vyper which I use as a backup gauge.

In preparation for the imminent arrival of said device, I downloaded Suunto Dive Manager v2.6 from the Suunto website onto my USB pen drive.

Running a scan on the pen drive this morning, I got the following result:

I can't believe that Suunto would be hosting flaky code but am reluctant to proceed without some reassurance. Any techie-types out there like to comment?

Hi Nick I am not a techie, but downloaded file and scanned with AVG. All ok. I am running that software, with no probs.

Reckon it must be your Virus scanner. What do you use.

Found this on xpanti virus..... think you need to get rid of you ex's panties

Nick,
I've just downloaded the same verson, and it didn't set off any of my works systems (I work for a major AV manufacturer...)
I kicked off a scan of the folder with all settings set to "absolutely paranoid", and it came back clean.
Which AV system do you have installed? It looks as if it could be a false positive...

Has it triggered this warning due to the fact the program has the ability to send info back to DAN or SUUNTO, albeit at your request. This could be the reason behind the warnings....

I too have been running Dive Manager with Kaspersky IS V.7 with no problems.

Cheers guys - green incoming.

I'm running Avast! Antivirus U3 Edition on the pen drive itself (it came with the drive)
