| Aren't those logged dives the example 'sample' dives that come with the software? You need to make your own folder or these will be included. I made the same mistake and deleted those dives.

What I'm concerned about though, is the fact that my most recent dives aren't being downloaded even though I can access them on the Vyper itself. I guess I should just go diving and see what happens |

1. not finding any logs 2. ignoring the last set of logs To fix this issue I have tried the following:- A. hit the download button on the pc before doing TRANS-PC on the vyper - otherwise the download doesn't work or i get daft results B. Run the vyper through a simulation (a couple of mins will do) before downloading logs - seems to clear the memory and make it play ball. Last time the simulation worked a treat and the vyper decided to let me have my latest logs after doing "A" above. A bit hit and miss, but i think it's my vyper that has issues and not the software. It's older than my other half's even though it supposidly is the same (software?) version Gaz

| Cheers Gaz, Ill try that. My Vyper is quite old and once spent 4 weeks at the bottom of Weymouth Marina before being recovered by its previous owner. Seems to work just fine as a gauge though |

| Another option is go back to the 1.6 version. I personally prefer it to to the newer 2.6million or whatever version there is now. That way you can see if it's your puter or the Suunto manager.

| Had the same issues , Installed the udated usb drivers and then changed the com setting to 9600 ,I think the software didn't like usb2 for some reason , problem disappeared ,it also prefers the same usb port each time, you can delete this under device manager ,if not just download in stages it gets there in 2 or 3 stages then will always update your new dives , if you are going to reinstall the software in an attempt to fix it make a copy of the whole suunto folder found under program files ,re-install and just copy back the folder all saved dives config etc are still there. This is handy if the windows side of the install crashes , I have found xp to be more of a pain than 2000 on the initial setup .Mine is also the older model as well.
