Each one bought will be individually tested before posting, you can't say fairer than that!

Hi luke. Can you make an interface with a USB connection rather than a serial con?

My lappy, being nice and shiney, dosent have such outmoded and ancient fittings
It could also be firewire or SD slot compatible if that makes it easier, but probably not.

Stu.

Thumbs up USB Version

Hi Stu,
If you read further up the thread you'll see Luke isn't doing any more of these and I've taken over with his approval while stocks last I should start a new thread really!
I can't actually modify the circuit to use USB as I'm not that clever and it would be overly expensive, but I have used this circuit successfully with a serial-USB converter (in this case an old Palm PDA adapter). These are readily available form shops or here's one on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...01954 37&rd=1
I can buy one for you and add it to the price of the Suunto interface if you prefer (I can make sure it works that way), let me know what you want to do.

Cheers
Muzzer

Sounds good Muzzer, I'll have the standard interface and see if I can put my hands on one of those connector jobbies.

Still 25 squid?

Stu.

Thumbs up Standard interface

Hi Stu,
Yeah, still the special YDForum price of £25 for the "standard" one.
I'm making these as the orders come in, and I've had a bit more interest than I'd anticipated :o so it may be around a week until I can catch up!
Hope this is OK, I'll PM you with the details when I've finished yours.
