My Home made Suunto Interface - Want one?

I am now back from doing my DM course in Cyprus and can get back to making my interfaces for people. The most i can make is 8 and several people have said they are interested. Some people already have one so if that is you would you mind giving a short review.

Im selling them for £25 inc postage (special YD price) and will ship them out as soon as payment has cleared. (and i have some made up) They will be sold on first come first served baises.

I will test them all before i send them out with my vyper but can not be held responsible if you break something. Also i believe that it will work with the Vytec and the cobra aswell (and possibly the mosquito) (could anyone i have sold one to already confirm what computer it works with.

any more questions just ask.... i will get to making these interfaces when i get a free min.

i have just found that there is a slight problem with one of the plugs, one of the contacts would get stuck inside the plastic plug, i have resolved this problem buy filling away some of the plastic so it does not get stuck when you plug it in, but it may if you push it all the way in, however you can pop it out again with a fine object. (possibly fingernails if you have them - unlike me)
due to this i will sell this unit for £20, this will go to the first person that says they want it at that price or the last person on the list.
There is nothing "wrong" with it but i try to be as honest as possible so thought i should let you know!

all other plugs work fine!

Good news!!!
I have been working hard over the last 2 days and have finished all of the interfaces. for those in the list above, please see PM (to follow) for more details.

some bad news for those not in the list above, there are no more left. If someone drops out, i will let still get in touch, so if you want to be on the backup list, post below!

there all gone now apart from the one that AndyJudge has put his name on, havent had any response to PMs ive sent, so i assumed he was on holiday diving somewhere nice!
anyone know where he is? and going to be back?

if not sorted by sunday, is there anyone else that would buy it?

Just like to say that these are top notch interfaces and do the job nicely. Mine works great with my Vytec.

For those of you out there who wanted one of these, you might pleased to know (or not if you've just bought a proper Suunto one ) that I have made a few of these for my buddies/friends and have enough parts left to make another 10 or so.

Anyone interested form an orderly queue and send me a PM or mail.

In case you were wondering I have run this idea past Luke284 and he's OK with it. I'll sell them for the same £25 inc. postage (UK only), but bear in mind they take a few hours each to make so it'll be a few days bfore you get them.

I've tested them on my Vyper, a Vytec, a Spyder* and they should work OK on the Stinger*, Cobra, Mosquito* and the D3. I'll also supply the software on CD.
