Computer Upgrade - Transferabilty of Logbook

Hello

Firstly I must say I do not need to upgrade.. but I'd like to. I am a recreational diver max depth 30m, using nitrox recently to 40% (eanx36 in reality). I have an aladin pro (grey model) and download the dives using the download manager (memo mouse). I would like to upgrade to a nitrox computer. I am interested in an aladdin pro ultra and Vyper. (may consider a vytec or new model aladdin smart pro).

Q. Any thoughts about the functionality of the aladdin pro ultra (compatable with my interface - hence cheapest option)?

Q. Can I transfer my old dives to new suunto dive manager software if I went down that route?

I would appreciate your input. Thankyou.

Neill

Hi Neill

In a nutshell Suunto And Aladin Software WILL NOT talk to each other. The Data is stored in different ways.

The Pro Ultra will work with your Memo mouse.

The Smart seris use Infrred Transfer sou you would need to purchase an IRDA

Importing Dives from your old Pro Logbook Into the latist Aladin Smart Logbook is No Problem
