My working life is ruined!!!

Help somebody please, today at work I found that, although I could log onto YD I could not enter any text into a reply or a PM.
As you can imagine this was particularly frustrating, especially as Tom had made some alarming comments about me shagging my dog.
Can anyone tell me if the IT nerds have sussed me out and fixed it so that I can`t post, is this possible?
Tried logging in and out, reboot etc, even mailed Mr T. but to no avail.
The upshot of this was, a full days work and sky high productivity...... I don`t like it.....
Please tell me it was a one off or at least send me into work with a magazine down my trousers waiting for the fallout.

no I don't think you could stop posting you could stop all access which is what they keep threatening to do at work - that will never happen I have control over net access

I keep getting the same problem myself at work, and have found by deleteing temporary internet files, it's sorts itself out. When I can't post, there is a little warning triangle in the left cornert of the IE bar, so if you have that as well, try my suggestion. I have no idea why it does it, but there is a work around so don't worry too much (well, I hope if works for you too).

I just refresh the page and it normally works OK.


It usually happens if I'm a bit too eagre to post a reply, and I start clicking in the message box, or start typing before the whole editor has loaded.

No offence taken. I apologise, I was a bit touchy yesterday. Had an incident with a trader yesterday getting arsey about something he screwed up, went to help and he said, "You effing geeks are useless". I replied with "Your pc won't boot because, unless I'm mistaken, you don't turn it on using the CD eject button. But the upside is you won't lose us anymore money you effing idiot" and left him to it.
