Why can't I see the home page?
Hi,

When I press the button marked home to see who's online and if it's anyones Birthday it just displays a test page. Has the system gone down again?

I get it Noel,

Have you tried CTRL+F5 on the duff page, it could be a cacheing problem.

it happened to me on Friday, and I PM'd Jay. He couldn't recreate the problem so I imagined it was all my fault (it often is).

Your machine stores webpages for future viewing (quicker access) - this is called 'caching'. Sometimes it doesn;t pick up that the page has updated.

I pressed control, then after this, Fand5 together, and a scary little window opened!
Help------a computer saddo :-(

and the control & F5 command tells the browser to reload the page from the web rather than the cache, like a hard refresh

Press the 'Control' key, usually marked 'CTRL' bottom left on a keyboard, and the F5 key, top of keyboard, at the same time.
