Problems posting trip report - cut and past from Word

I'm trying to copy and past my trip report from a Word file, but the system doesn't recognise any of the text. It's too large to attach as a whole file, but even when I cut an paste single paragraphs, it won't take it. Any ideas why?

It probably has a load of formatting embedded.

Try saving it as a text file and c&P'ing that.

Have you tried copying and pasting the text from word into Notepad and then into YD from there?

Hi, I've had similar probs in the past, what I did was copy it into notepad and then copy it from notepad to YD.

This removes the word formatting bits I think.

Formatting probably Bunny.

C&P all into notepad first, then c&p the unformatted text into your post.

HTH,

That's what I ended up doing, and it worked, thanks. Actually managed to solve the problem myself - amazing.
