I've tried it all and still can't connect to the homepage with AOL, IE6 is OK though, and AOL will load all the other pages. Thus far I have cleared the cache, deleted all YD cookies, cleared the history and refreshed the page. any more ideas before I do what I have been meaning to do for a while, reformat the HD and start again. The sure-fire way to get rid of all the clutter

Hmm. is the AOL browser connecting through a proxy? (e.g. an AOL server). The out-of-date page could be cached on there. If so, there's nowt you can do about it, but the server should replace the page eventually I think.

i wonder if perhaps some mischief is occuring, having read this post and brens other ref: a tool bar thingy, i also picked up a strange symbol at bottom right on screen, it suddenly appeared (or at least i suddenly noticed it) after following a link from a page on yd, it didnt do anything and i logged out and ran my a/v,(avg)+ pest patrol+ stinger (mcafee) none of which found owt, re-started puter and new symbol had gone, however my next visit got me the same page referred to here and notwithstanding trying the refresh button a couple of times during the day it was on maybe the 5/6 try that i was able to actually get on board. my a/v+pest patrol all updated daily and they tell me all is ok, but you do start to wonder when this sort of thing goes on, a bit like that odd sound in the wheelhouse that you cant put yer finger on but you know "ain't quite right".
is it possible theres a gremlin at the server?

Glad I'm not the only one getting that test page (in Aus). I tried everything but finally got through via 'Diving Daisy' link.

Back here in Aus I could not get through until now. Its 09.47pm Wednesday eve.

Tried all the tricks and not even the link from 'Diving Daisy' would work.

I experienced this as well this morning from home, and from work, on two different machines. It cleared suddenly, might be cached I guess...

same here this morning on 3 diferent machines including 1 that has never been connected to the net before.

Cleared caches on first two and then gave up and did some work.
