Time Warp 2 - I know where my thread went but..

why did it get moved?

My Poll on Dive Planning seemed to be entirely at home in the 'Polls' forum.

Today though it seems to have been moved to the 'Diver Skills' forum.
This doesn't seem to be a particularly appropriate place for it.

Any idea why it was moved there and is it possible for thread authors to get PMd when threads are moved so they don't have to hunt through YD looking for it?

Justo re-cap, for those who missed it, John and I resolved this very amicably off-board in PM.

1. The questions asked are clearly dive-centric questions, but they're in the in the Polls section (a stated non-diving forum).

2. Your poll was about a dive skill (rig-config/gax-mix planning, given the conditions, and risk assessment are very MUCH dive skills) and a bloody worthwhile topic for any reader of the boards.

Hope that helps
