Hi Trebor,

Few questions in one go there.

Buoyancy, air - Probably "surface interval" if it's general dive related chat
http://www.yorkshire-divers.co.uk/fo...splay.php?f=14

releases, weight belts - sounds more equipment related so "Dive kit you wear"
http://www.yorkshire-divers.co.uk/fo...splay.php?f=21

DIR - wonderful stuff which is good for improving your diving, prone to start the odd row by people who disagree with it. YD has quite a DIR contingent so there is some good info on it. Best starting point is to read the DIR faq:
http://www.yorkshire-divers.co.uk/fo...ead.php?t=8580

Overall your best bet is to have a quick glance at the forums and see if you can see similar questions. Also try the search facility on the menu bar at the top as lot of questions have been covered in the past.

There should be an admin along shortly who can also offer some sound advice. I'm just a tourist

Cheers
Al

As for buoyancy-related issues, have a look at the Diver Skills & Courses forum here too, there is a raft of threads on buoyancy so you should find what you're after in there - if not begin a new thread in there posting your specific question(s).
