Hopefully he's just away from the computer and will fix it when he gets back.

I really hope it's not permanent - have just had a bunch of business cards printed with that link on, and was getting over 300 visitors a day

guys - just had a note from Andy to say the deepstop has been hacked which is why it is down (he's propably mailed everyone just putting this here in case not) - he's onto it now and hopes it'll be sorted in a few days. I'm popping up to scotland camping for a few days so hopefully it'll be sorted by the time I'm back. The snowy pics of Lochaline have certainly wetted my appetite!

Hi

The Deep Stop is back up again. I don't think anyone has lost anything but as I have upgraded to the latest version some of the old plugins didn't work. Please let me know if there are any problems.

I will be tweaking a few things over the next week or so which may cause a little disruption but hopefully everything will be stable.

Andy

Andy - I notice the bsuite and SpamKarma plugins are not there any more. Any chance you could reinsert them as I found them to be pretty useful?

Cheers

Hi

The spam karma plugin has been replaced by other spam comment preventers, which are activated automatically. The Spam Karma plugin had to be activated manually for each site and not many people knew what to do so they would get bombarded with spam.

If you check out your site logged off and try and add a comment you will see there is a captcha protection to prevent comment bots.

The bsuite plugin does not seem to be compatible with the latest version so I am looking at alternatives or a fix. There is still a bunch of stuff to fix to be honest, as the tags have changed, as well as a few other things, which means I will probably be replacing all the themes soon with compatible ones (most with customisable headers which is cool), but it will take a bit of time as I am extremely busy at the mo with work and preparing for a cave diving trip to France next Saturday

Andy

PS Sorry, forgot to mention that I have setup google analytics for the site. You can setup a google analytics account and get a code which you place in the options/google analytics thing, then get all your stats from google analytics. I am testing it on Scubageek at the minute. Goto google.com/analytics to setup an account.
