Database error 21st July
Hi Jay

Site was down and now back up. When one visits a member profile then the screen is not rendering properly.

If anyone else can add any funnies then you may have all the info you need in one thread

Issues
Am aware of the issues - am trying to track it down. Started as an issue with accessing one of the database fields but I suspect it has to do with the server side cookies not being stored correctly. Hopefully this will sort out soon!

Which version of PHP are you running? The SetCookie function has the amazing ability to completely srew up when you manage to reach a certain number of users on the site. Its completely baffeling but I've had it a few times on a message board system I wrote.

Yes, thats the version I had problems with. I'm currently running 4.2.2 on RedHat and Solaris hosts and it seems to be a bit more stable. I'd have a pretty exhanstive check to see if the error isn't caused elsewhere though.... upgrading PHP can be a nightmare (although PEAR is pretty handy! )

It might help if you don't store cookies in MYsql. Use the default method.
