| Hello all, Yesterday I was speaking to a guy who is obsessed with spear fishing. He was telling me that he does 30m/35m dives to catch fish, when I asked him what deco does he do he told me that he does not use the dive computer any more as it pisses him off, and not giving him enough bottom time. He dives with 18l cylinders so bottom time isn't short. I asked him about DCI and he says nahhh??!! Other guys here dive to 40m everyday for fish as well until their 18l have enough to surface and sometime they do even 2 dives a day! All the above is true and not invented, so how these guys can get away with it, for so long time ? Some been diving this way for years? NB. I do think that the above practise is deadly dangerous and a DCI hit is in the order of when and not if !!!! Do you know people who dives this way?

| Hard to say Pierre, as Tom aluded it might be down to their profiles, could it be they hit the bottom then ascend slowly. Alternatively they may of course just have a physiology that tolerates this sort of thing. Matt |
