ddplan - am I correct

OK here's a dive plan, details un-important, but, it shows

Dive profile for DiveA:
Step Depth SegT RunT Gas ppO2 END
================================================== =============
1 0.0-> 32.0 2:08 2:08 Nitrox 32 1.34 26
2 32.0-> 32.0 25:52 28:00 Nitrox 32 1.34 26

Deepest effective stop: 15m
Buhlmann + Gradient Factor decompression schedule:
Step Depth SegT RunT %MV Gas ppO2 END
================================================== =============
3 32.0-> 12.0 3:00 31:00 59.3 Nitrox 32 0.70 9
4 12.0-> 9.0 1:00 32:00 65.5 Nitrox 32 0.61 6
5 9.0-> 6.0 7:00 39:00 72.4 Nitrox 32 0.51 4
6 6.0-> 0.0 0:51 39:51 87.4
================================================== =============
Dive time: 0:28:00 Gradient Factors were used:
Ascent & Deco time: 0:11:51 Low factor: 20%
======== High factor: 80%
Total run time: 0:39:51

Ascent rate: 7, Descent rate: 15 (m/min) Total CNS: 18% OTUs: 45

OC Gases used:
Depth Gas ppO2 END MOD Litres CNS
================================================== ===
* 3450 18.0 OC CNS Total: 18%

The way I read this is

(4) 12.0-> 9.0 1:00 32:00 65.5 Nitrox 32 0.61 6
(5) 9.0-> 6.0 7:00 39:00 72.4 Nitrox 32 0.51 4

now I'm assuming that (4) means it takes me 1 minute to get to 9m from 12m,
and (5) takes me 7 minutes to get from 9m to 6m.

With a planned ascent rate of 7m/min the first bit (4) means stopping at 9m with a total elapsed time of 1 minute since leaving the 12m level, similarly it will take me much less than 7 minutes to get to 6mtrs from 9mtrs so I should stop at 6m until my ascent from 9m has taken 7minutes total. In pracice I would ascend to the stop depth i.e. 9m and 6m respectively and stay there for 1 minute and 7 minutes respectively.
I'd also add a stop in at lower levels too, say 1 minute at 18mtrs and 15mtrs.

Am I correct in my assumptions?

Matt

IMO you ascend at the ascent rate you've set, typically 10m/min & stop at shallower depth until until the stated runtime.

The important/useful number is the runtime, this plan is telling you to leave the 9m level @ 32 mins (elapsed) & the 6m level @ 39 mins (elapsed)

I'd just copy the depths & runtimes onto my slate.

Cheers
that is how I saw it, in fact that is how I have usually planned it, although I have generally run the pooter and padded the 6m stop a bit.
