Absolutely brilliant!!

If I substitute fish pie for steak and ale (my pie of preference) do i need to add further 'for luck' stops to take into account the possible effects of dehydration?

Cheers

Rich

Just to clear something up. It is only Richard Pye - the deep diving Icthyosaur [1] who likes fish pie. The type of pie doesn't matter. I have a preference for Pork Pies, as they are tasty, nutrious, they are convenient to hold and are designed for portability. However you should feel free to substitute Fish Pie, as Richard Pye does, Steak and Ale pie, or indeed a Cornish Pasty. A hot sausage roll can be used as well, all though obviously you should stay well clear of Scotch eggs.

I should add that anything with "low fat" or "weight watchers" on the label affects your deco horribly and should be avoided at all costs.

Maybe you should get DOTP sponsored by Ginsters?

Hi

I ran a few profiles on this. I hope the formatting looks OK on whatever browser you are reading this on. But, the left is the depth column, next the time for Buhlman 20/80 and then DOTP. So, you can see the depth/time that each profile was worked out on and the comparison between the two. (Providing I have calculated Janos's DOTP correctly that is - Janos, you might want to check it mate) Then the Total Deco time is at the bottom for the two algorithms.

Bottom time is based on the time you start your descent, to the time you begin your ascent.

As I said, Janos, you may want to check my results. Oh and one thing, I based the (over 25min deco) on the figure after the 'couple for luck' was added for your 'out of range' point - is this correct, or should the point be before the 'couple for luck' are added?

Yeah. Yuk !
But isn't it the Melton Mowbray premises that are next door to a dog food factory ?

Interestingly, there have been quite a number of pet food manufacturers that have had, or still have, premises in Melton Mowbray.

Now the next time you are eating a Pork Pie, try not thinking about Pedigree Dog Food
