JDECO Multilevel Dive Planning Help.

I need a bit of help with planning multilevel dives in JDECO.

So far I have used the program to do square profiles and am very happy with the results.

I was trying to run through a dive I did at the weekend and plan it through JDECO to see how the results correlated against what I achieved on the actual dive using a VR3.

The dive was 50m for 15mins, ascend to 25m for 10mins. On the actual dive I did a deco stop for 2 mins at 32m and then one min at 24m. However, when I try and plan this dive using JDECO it tells me that the 'Dive level 2 of dive 1 violates decompression ceiling'. I was expecting the program to give me a run time including the stops to get me upto 25m and then including the stops to get me to the surface. Have a I made a numpty error with the program?

I've set it up for CCR use and as far as I have tested it I get very good correlation ith my VR3 for square profile dives.

Just thought I would reply to my own thread in case someone comes across this in the archives.

JDECO (version 3.2) is not currently capable of calculating deco stops between level changes. If you are required to stop it gives you the error message I mentioned in the opening post.

Dr Schmidt is working on making it calculate the stops though and it should be released in a future version.

That means that at the moment it will only multilevel plan if there are no stops involved when changing between levels or you have to run a square profile plan for the dive which is what I'll be doing.
